Malta-based producer of quality and unique video slots Yggdrasil Gaming has recently added a new game named Tut’s Twister to its portfolio.

This five-reel four-row slot with 25-paylines slot is set in the tomb of King Tut, who will follow you as you collect hieroglyphs and unlock bonus features.

A Legend Comes to Life

Symbols you’ll encounter are also inspired by ancient Egypt: the low-value icons are represented by hearts, spades, clubs, and diamonds, while the top-paying ones are pots of gold, birds, rings, and scrolls.

The face of a demon pharaoh is the game’s Wild, substituting for all other symbols except the Scatter.

If you manage to land 2 or more Wilds during the Main Game, you’ll activate Tut’s Twister feature. King Tut will then randomly choose one of the Wilds and transform them into a twister, making the entire column wild and awarding the player a re-spin.

The twister will pull each Wild closer to the twister, and new Wild will appear with each additional re-spin.

Exciting Features

Each Wild becomes a so-called walking Wild, moving towards the twister. If you are lucky enough to get at least 3 walking Wilds, you’ll be awarded a multiplier – it starts at x2 and will increase by 1 for every extra 3 Wilds that land.

Another feature worth mentioning is the Twister Collections feature.

Here you’ll notice 3, 4, 5, 4, and 3 hieroglyphic symbols above reels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. All hieroglyphic symbols have to be filled in order to activate a collection bonus. Each time a Wild lands, it will reveal a hieroglyph and fill one of the symbols.
When you manage to fill all of them, one Wild will turn into a twister and award you a re-spin.

During the first re-spin, each hieroglyph will be randomly placed on the reel, with any additional Wild turning into a walking Wild, increasing the chances for a big win.

The Last Chance feature is triggered when there are no more Wilds, which means you can continue to fill your pockets with big wins.
