Malta-based online games developer Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the launch of its first table game called Sonya Blackjack.

This represents an important step forward for a company that is known to develop only slot games.

An Immersive Experience

Sonya Blackjack brings 3D action to your screen, keeping the players involved at all times, and offering a distinctive experience. Up to three players can sit at the animated table, but others can stand behind the main seats while testing their luck in real time.

The game is currently available in fictional money, but soon the players will have a chance to bet with real money.

Sonya Blackjack features all standard options when it comes to this kind of game, such as Insurance, Money Split, Double and Double after Split. The game features other unique features as well. Casino operators will be able to customize skins, logos, the dealer and the casino environment, practically creating their own version of the game.

Sonya Blackjack will be available to play on mobile devices, including Android, iPhone, and iPad, as well as on desktop. The game was designed using REDUX platform which is famous for using a random number generator and motion capture capabilities.

This platform has been created by Yggdrasil and combines the best features of both live and RNG casinos.

Driving the Table Game Vertical Forward

Yggdrasil Chief Product Officer, Krzysztof Opalka said Yggdrasil had a track record or ripping up the rulebook to deliver products that reinvented online casino and Sonya Blackjack was no different. He added they had witnessed unprecedented interest in the product since its introduction at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming in London.

Opalka further stated that never before had a table game product been so customizable. With the 3D modelling, operators have unlimited opportunities to create brand and event-specific environments, at a significantly lower cost than with live dealer.

He added the company looked forward to seeing Sonya in action and would continue to drive forward the table games vertical over the coming months in much the same way they had with slots.

Be sure to check it out at Yggdrasil-powered online casinos.
