Malta-based provider of online and mobile casino games Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the latest move which will see the company increase its presence in the Danish market.

After similar deals were struck with Jackpotjoy Group and Danske Spil in November and December last year respectively, the supplier has now added bet25.dk to its list of partners.

An Important Move

This online casino is run by Danish Ecosys A/S company, which recently made an important move by signing a conditional agreement to purchase Swedish horse racing operator AB Trav och Galopp (ATG), with the transaction set to be completed once Sweden’s new gambling legislation comes into effect next year.

Commenting on the deal, bet25.dk Casino Manager Thomas Hartvig Petersen said Yggdrasil was a familiar name to online casino players worldwide, whose fantastic games would quickly become very popular among the firm’s Danish players.

Hartvig added that expanding with innovative content was key to the bet25.dk strategy of offering its customers the very best casino experience and Yggdrasil’s games would play a key role in this.

Benefits For Players

Following this agreement, bet25.dk will not only be able to offer Yggdrasil Gaming extensive portfolio of premium video slots to its players but will also benefit from the company’s BOOST and BRAG tools. The former represents a collection of in-game promotional tools, focus on player engagement and retention, while the latter offers the possibility of promoting games through social channels and allows players to watch the replays of their winning spins and share them with friends and fans.

Yggdrasil Gaming Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Elmqvist stated the latest operator partnership in Denmark further underline the importance of this market to the company itself.

He explained Yggdrasil had enjoyed significant growth entering regulated markets in 2017, and added it was clear that its content was in high demand among operators and players in Denmark.

In the end, Elmqvist said he was looking forward to working alongside the bet25.dk team and helping them offer an even stronger content portfolio to their customers.

Yggdrasil Gaming received its first license in 2013, and quickly emerged as one of the important industry players. Today, the company provides games for some of the biggest operators in the world, including bet365, Betsson Group, bwin.party, Cherry, LeoVegas, Mr Green and Unibet.
