Prepare yourselves for a proper jungle adventure, where you will be taming wild animals in order to win payouts. Unlike in other jungles, the Panther is the king here. He pays most, so make sure you land as many Panthers as you can, since they can secure you up to 12,500 coins in a single spin.
The reels are set deep in the jungle, but do not worry, if you follow a few simple rules, you might survive this adventure. Panther Pays is Playtech’s 5-reel, 3-row video slot that benefits from 50 paylines, which pay left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Most of the symbols will start paying once you land at least three of a kind on a payline, but that is not the case with the Panther, Parrot, Mask and Wild, because they will even pay for two of a kind. Betting starts at $0.50 and the biggest possible wager is set at $500.
Remember that you can speed the reels up a bit by using the Fast Forward option, while Autoplay offers plenty of automatic spins to those who just want to sit back and enjoy the show.
When it comes to symbols populating the reels, there are plenty of wild animals out there, but none of them are as dangerous as the Black Panther, the king of this jungle and the most lucrative symbol. Of course, there are other creatures hiding in the bushes like Parrots, Monkeys and Blue Frogs. Also, there is the Mask, which is probably a lost relic of some ancient deity. The Diamond is Wild that appears on all reels but the first one and substitutes for all regular symbols. Scatter triggers the Free Spins feature.
To trigger the Free Spins feature, spinners need to land three or more Scatters on the reels. This will get you 10 free spins and up to 100 coins, depending on the number of Scatters landed. Gamers can expect extra Wilds on each reel during the feature. Before each freebie, one extra Wild can be added to the reels 2 to 5, meaning that up to 40 extra Wilds can be added to the reels before the feature is over.
If you want to retrigger the feature, you will have to look for extra Scatters. Land at least three of them and you will be rewarded with 5 additional free spins. Remember that you can retrigger the feature more than once.
We can all agree that Panther Pays is not the best product Playtech has to offer, but certainly it is not the worst video slot out there. The 2019 release is set in a jungle and there are more than enough video slots with a similar topic. The visuals are not as good as we had hoped, while the soundtrack could have also been better. As for the Free Spins feature, it can surprise you with decent wins, but that’s about it when it comes to the Playtech title. With all due respect, if you are looking for more jungle action, we would advise you to look for fun elsewhere.
