The rush of adrenaline, the spirit of competition, the smell of gasoline in the air – all of these things hallmark something very clear. It’s racing season, and one of the biggest events, in the United States, at least, is NASCAR. Outside of the Americas, however, it’s not particularly popular, which leads us to believe this title was designed specifically for the US market. It certainly explains the somewhat odd name, which is supposed to be a humorous pun, we believe. It didn’t quite pan out for us, but we’re giving credit where it’s due, we’re certain someone out there had enjoyed it. This Saucify release boasts a medium volatility and a 400x fixed jackpot. It offers a single special feature, which are the free spins.
The visuals are very clearly dated, both with the user interface and the graphics themselves. The symbols themselves look high fidelity enough, but just looking at the human characters is enough to show it’s a little bit dated. The user interface tries to look like a physical machine, which used to be popular in the early days of online slots, around the 2000s. Whether or not this title is from that era, we can’t say – we haven’t been able to find out when this title was released. We can, however, compare it to the graphics today, and we can say with certainty that you can find a lot of games that look better. Gameplay isn’t that much better off either, with only a Wild to change things up a little bit, so there’s really no attraction there, either. But the biggest sin we’ve been able to take note of is the lack of any visible RTP, which is a major issue for us.
The way you can activate the free spins is by collecting three or more racing car Scatters. You cannot retrigger the feature, and collecting three, four or five Scatters will reward three, six or fifteen extra spins respectively, as well as a small cash prize on top of that. As an added bit of flavor, every free spins bonus has a different set of visuals once activated, but given the fact that graphics aren’t really the shining beacon of this title, the effort, while appreciated, is a bit lost on us. What isn’t lost on us is the absence of any other special features to make things interesting, rendering gameplay a rather boring affair in which you will keep spinning over and over again with hopes of scoring a win. Sometimes, you will be able to get it, while at other times, you’ll find yourself wishing to throw your device of choice out of the window in frustration. Wilds can only do so much to break up the monotony.
As such, it’s no surprise that our final rating was negative. The visuals are nothing to write home about, being decent, but very clearly outdated, and the gameplay felt alright to play, but lacked any real punch to really draw people in to enjoy themselves. The absence of any RTP was a major red flag, and despite a sizeable 400x fixed jackpot, we can’t tell you what sort of success you might find with this title. There are plenty of better titles to play – do yourself a favor, and pick one of them.
