The good side of the story is that you will play two grids for the price of one. The central attraction of the game is the Free Spins feature, with a special, randomly chosen, expanding symbol that expands on both sets of reels.
If you think that two sets of reels would make this game complicated, think again because you could not be more wrong. All you need to do is click on the Spin button, and both reels sets will start spinning instantly. Before you do that, set the bet somewhere between $0.20 and $100 per single spin. Winning payouts is also quite easy. Just land at least two matching high-paying icons on a payline. Three of a kind is the minimum for low-value icons. The slot pays left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Both reels offer 10 paylines, so you get 20 in total.
You are about to enter an ancient pharaoh's tomb, but you do not have to get scared because all you will come across here are decent wins. When comparing Book of Gold 2: Double Hit with its famous predecessor, we may say that everything is doubled in the sequel. Players get 2 sets of reels instead of 1, they get 20 paylines instead of 10. But, to be completely honest, it is not as exciting as one might hope. Sure, you get more chance of winning payouts, but we expected a bit more ingenuity from Playson. In our humble opinion, Book of Gold deserves a better sequel.
