The award-winning online gaming supplier, Microgaming, decided it was time for a new amazing progressive jackpot to be added to their portfolio. After the huge success of Mega Moolah, the good people of Microgaming released WowPot, a four-tiered progressive jackpot.

The largest of the four jackpots seeds at $2,000,000, and the first-ever game to feature this fantastic progressive jackpot is Wheel of Wishes. Interestingly enough, Wheel of Wishes and African Legends are the only two games that do not contain WowPot in their names.

As time went by, WowPot became more and more popular, which lead to new games. Up until now, 7 different games offer the progressive jackpot in question, and more than $55,000,000 has been paid out through WowPot jackpot payouts at the time when we are writing this text.

What Do Players Get from WowPot?

First of all, players need to know that the WowPot progressive jackpot is not the same as the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot. The biggest difference between the two of them is that Mega Moolah seeds at $1,000,000, and WowPot’s top progressive jackpot seeds at $2,000,000.

The WowPot is a big progressive prize pool. To grow the prize pool, gamers need to spin the reels of any WowPot video slots. A small amount of every bet will end up in the mutual prize pool, constantly growing the total amount.

There are four different tiers, the smallest being the Mini Jackpot. Mini seeds at $10. Minor seeds at $100, while the Major seeds at $50,000. We have already said that WowPot, the biggest of them all, seeds at $2,000,000. Now, despite the fact that Mega Moolah is still responsible for the top payout, WowPot is threatening to take over and dominate in the near future.

Which Games Offer WowPot?

Wheel of Wishes is the first game ever to offer the WowPot progressive prize pool. Released in February 2020, Wheel of Wishes is a result of cooperation between Microgaming and Alchemy Gaming. Set in the deserts of Africa, the game features five reels, three rows, and benefits from 10 fixed paylines. To reach the Wheel of Wishes Jackpot feature, you need to trigger the Power Spin feature.

Two Scatters on the reels trigger the Power Spin. Once in, the central three reels will form one giant symbol, while icons on reels 1 and 5 are randomly added. If you land a giant Bonus symbol on the central reel, you trigger the Wheel of Wishes Jackpot feature. Spin the Wheel and see which of the four progressive jackpots will end up in your pockets. It’s as simple as that.

African Legends is the next game on our list, the only video slot from the WowPot series that offers only the Major jackpot. The Slingshot Studios product will take you on a fantastic safari, where you play on a 5×3 reel grid with 243 ways to win. It’s all about the Rolling reels feature because they trigger both the Free Spins feature and the WowPot Jackpot feature.

Four or more Rolling Reels in succession will trigger the feature. Up to 20 freebies can be triggered at once (with 7 successive Rolling Reels). With 8 consecutive Rolling Reels, you enter the WowPot Jackpot feature. Here, you can only win the Major Progressive Jackpot.

Just For The Win and Microgaming stand behind Sherlock and Moriarty WowPot, a five-reel, three-row video slot with 20 fixed paylines. Roam the gloomy streets of London, and try to trigger free spins, Mystery Respins, and the Jackpot feature. Look for the Magnifying Glass symbols attached to regular symbols on the reels. These are tokens that will help you unlock the Jackpot Wheel and win one of four progressive jackpots.

The Mystery Symbol triggers the Mystery Respins feature once more than 5 of them appear on the reels at the same time. Triggering symbols are fixed, while other reels perform a respin. The feature continues until there are no new mystery symbols on reels. As for the Free Spins feature, three or more Moriarty Scatters trigger them. Mystery symbols during free spins bring modifiers. Expect Sticky Wilds, win multipliers, and extra spins.

The last one we will mention in this article is the newest game, Queen of Alexandria WowPot. Microgaming developed the 2021 release in cooperation with Neon Valley Studios. The reels are overlooking a magnificent pyramid, and your host will be the lovely Cleopatra. It is also the most important symbol of the game.

Acting as a Wild, Cleopatra will expand to cover the entire reel every time it lands. Expanding Wilds come with respins. The Wild will lock in its position, and other reels perform a respin. Wilds land only on the three central reels, so the most you can expect is 3 consecutive respins.

To trigger the WowPot Progressive Jackpot feature, you will have to collect the Diamond progressive trigger symbols. Once in, you get to spin the wheel and win one of four guaranteed jackpots.

The Biggest Recorded Wins

Apart from the above-mentioned video slots, there are three more games that come with the WowPot Progressive jackpot. Those are Sisters of Oz WowPot, 9 Blazing Diamonds WowPot, and Book of Atem WowPot. The latter is important, because the biggest WowPot has been recorded on the All41 Studios title at the time we are writing this text. In April 2021, Book of Atem WowPot recorded the biggest win amount of $17,529, 047.11. The game in question appears 3 times in the top 7 wins.

Interestingly enough, Sherlock and Moriarty WowPot appears twice on this list, and the latest win recorded on the Just For The Win product is $2,025,388.75. Sisters of Oz WowPot is another game that made a lucky player millionaire, delivering a progressive jackpot of €1,123,513.15.

As mentioned earlier, even though Mega Moolah is in charge when talking about the biggest progressive jackpot wins among Microgaming titles, WowPot threatens to take over first place and dominate the list for years to come.
