The company based on the Isle of Man has announced that they are spreading their business to Canada, with the latest agreement signed with PearFiction Studios, the Montreal-based game’s designer. Following success on The Smashing Biscuit, a punk rock-themed game, Microgaming decided to make the relationship more stable by signing an agreement on 4th February 2021.

They will kick off their collaboration with a magnificent new video slot, called Chicago Gold, which will see the light of day just in time for the Slots Festival. Apart from that, Microgaming decided to start the year with a bang and have announced the release of 20+ video slots this February.

Andrew Booth Excited With Signing the Agreement With PearFiction Studios

In one of the interviews given by Andrew Booth, the director of games stated that he was most excited with the signed deal with PearFiction Studios. Tha Montreal-based games developers now became one of the newest members of the Microgaming family. They will celebrate the agreement with the release of Chicago Gold, where players get the chance to experience Chicago from the 1920s. Explore the Chicago clubs during the Prohibition era, and enjoy exciting gangster action, amazing bonuses, and mouth-watering payouts.

The agreement came from their previous successful cooperation on another impressive game, called The Smashing Biscuit, themed after punk rock. Microgaming is known for partnering up with up-and-coming studios that bring innovation and excitement to the table. This innovation can truly be seen in Chicago Gold, with the exciting and new Cash Collection feature, where players use three different collect symbols to obtain prizes. Next in line is the Big Boss Jackpot Reveal Game, where gamers pick symbols to collect one of four jackpots on the offer.

February a Busy Month For Microgaming

Chicago Gold is only one of more than 20 video slots Microgaming is planning to release this February, making it one of the busiest months in the company’s history. Not all of them will be released by Microgaming themselves. Ten will come from their exclusive independent studios, and more than ten will be delivered by content partners.

Just For The Win have been busy little bees of late, and their latest addition to their exciting portfolio is called Juicy Joker Mega Moolah. The newest incarnation of the famous Mega Moolah series comes with an exciting Bonus feature and, of course, the Jackpot Wheel, where players get to spin the Wheel and win one of four jackpots that are on the offer.

Next in line is the 6 Tokens of Gold, developed by Microgaming and All41 Studios. An old-school video slot in its essence, 6 Tokens of Gold comes with a modern appearance and a HyperHold feature, where you need to land 6 or more coins to get three respins. Land as many coins during respins to get the biggest possible prize, it’s as simple as that.

Since we are talking about the HyperHold feature, we can also mention Adventures of Doubloon Island, a pirate-themed video slot with the HyperHold feature. Triple Edge Studios stands behind this sea adventure, where you will be on the hunt for jackpots and free spins, with all other pirates among gamers.

Incan Adventure is next on the list, and here players also need to go on a search for treasures, only this time you go under an ancient temple and drill for long-lost treasures. Gacha Games decided to do the game in arcade-style, and the player will be drilling blocks to win payouts. All41 has one more game on the offer in February, called Ingots of Cai Shen, an Asian-themed game, where the goal is to look for jackpots.

Next in line, we have Carnaval Jackpot, coming from Pulse 8 Studios. It all comes down to jackpot respins in this simple game. Old Skool Studios decided to go with Maui Mischief, where you will be greeted by natives in a lovely tropical destination and rewarded with stacked Wilds on every reel. 3 Devils Pinball from Crazy Tooth Studio is taking you on a diabolical pinball game. The Day of the Dead will be celebrated with Gong Gaming Technologies’ Skulls Heap. If you fancy a tropical island, try out Rabcat’s Tropical Wilds.

The Fun does not end here since there is an entire list that comes from Microgaming’s partners. These include Blirix Workshop from Iron Dog Studio, Reel Lucky King Megaways, released by Inspired, Bar Slot from Golden Rock Studios, Temple of Light and Reel Diamonds, developed by 1×2 Gaming, MGA’s Yola Berrocal, 2By2’s Cosmic Gems, and Fruity Bonanza Scatter Drops, and Opal Fruits from Big Time Gaming.

Lots of Plans For a Successful Year

The following year is a year of action and innovation for Microgaming. They never stop looking for new and innovative ideas, according to Andrew Booth. Their network of exclusive studios is continually working on new features, and they are hoping to hit multiple winners in 2021.

Of course, new variations of the Mega Moolah video slots are also being prepared, and WowPot titles, which aim to improve the progressive jackpot network. New video slots offering progressive jackpots and exciting new features will increase the number of winners of the top Mega Moolah prize. In 2020, 12 players went home with the money, and Microgaming is expecting to go wider in the current year.

The main goal in 2021 will be to find the sweet middle of entertainment and big value. Players want two things from their games – entertaining features and a possibility to win huge payouts. High-octane base game and frequent wins are the dream, and that dream may come true in Hyper Strike from Gameburger Studios.

As for the collaboration with new studios, up until now, the policy to sign agreements with innovative new game developers proved to be a huge success. There is no doubt that Microgaming will continue looking for more studios that can improve their business and take it to the next level.
