Play’n GO recently released the newest addition to the Gems series, called Forge of Gems. The fifth video slot in the series got us thinking about the rising popularity of Play’n GO’s gem games. We are about to present all the important aspects of Forge of Gems. Also, we will tell you more about the other four video slots from the Gems series.

1. Forge of Gems

This is a visually impressive video slot with a steampunk theme. The reels are set in front of a furnace, and you can hear the sound of heavy hammers hitting the anvil in the background, as well as the sound of laying hot gemstones into cold water. These symbols come into effect when cascades begin. There are empty tiles, which do nothing at all. One of them will turn all icons on the reel it lands into Wilds. There is one that will split all matching icons on the reel it appears and is called Vertical Splitter.

The fourth special symbol will split symbols on the row it lands. The Horizontal Splitter does not split Scatters. Also, this special symbol will act as a Wild. Finally, there is the Gold Coin, which increases the win multiplier. The win multiplier goes up to 37x and it resets to 1x in the base game after a non-winning cascade.

Scatters may appear on all 5 reels, and also on the Forge Reel. Three, four, or five Scatters will trigger the Gembox feature. Depending on the number of Scatters landed, you will get different options at the Gembox. Three Scatters secure 20x prize, 8, or 10 free spins Land four Scatters and you may get 30x instant win, 10, or 15 freebies.

For five Scatters, you compete for either 40x prize, 10, 15, or 20 free spins. During the Free Spins feature, the win multiplier does not reset after a non-winning cascade. It only goes up when you collect the multiplier Coins. The feature cannot be retriggered.

2. Prism of Gems

Prism of Gems is a five-reel, three-row video slot that benefits from up to 3,087 ways to win. To win payouts, players need to land matching icons on successive reels, starting from the leftmost reel. Three of a kind is the minimum for landing payouts. Wins trigger cascades, and this is where we need to start talking about the vertical reel, called the Multiplier Reel.

3. Frozen Gems
